Visitors create the movement of the fabric by riding on giant swings connected by ropes. There’s a lot more to the piece than just the undulating curtain, and you can read about that in this link if you want: http://www.armoryonpark.org/programs_events/detail/ann_hamilton
A recent obsession is to take an extended sailboat trip somewhere.
The catch? I don’t have any sailing experience.
I’m hoping I can crew with experienced sailors and learn as much as possible.
I don’t expect to be an overnight expert, but hopefully could learn enough to know when a boat is unsafe, etc.
I’ve read that it’s possible to sail for ‘free’, just paying for food, and the payment is work in trade.
A few sites that I’ve been lurking in:

Apologies for the lack of posts lately.
The site was also down for a few days while I changed the ISP.
Highly recommend this book by GB Tran. He spent a long time putting it all together and the result is very impressive.
I don’t know what attracts me to capture banal moments like this, but I find beauty in it. There’s a great deal of chance when I’m shooting from a moving train toward a moving object. It’s my own version of a story problem without having to do the math equation. (A train leaves the station at time X traveling at rate Y. A truck is traveling at rate…)
